How I Saved My Client From an IRS Audit

Sep 28, 2021

I saved my client $20k in interest and penalties and another $40k in taxes!

IRS audits are scary.

Even if you did nothing wrong, other than use H&R Block – like my client – who did the year before he came to me.

That was the year the IRS decided to audit. Thankfully the client had all their receipts and records in two bankers boxes!

Several months and lots of back and forth later, the IRS agent put forth her proposal of a $60k liability. I went through the proposal, and found the golden ticket; something the previous preparer had overlooked.

I submitted my counter proposal, and it turned my clients day from storms to sunshine.

Why?

Because the IRS agent accepted the proposal, and the client got a refund.

FROM AN AUDIT!!!

So happy I could help my client get that result!

So if you need help, or are thinking that conventional big box tax preparation services are “good enough” for you, you may want to think again. TurboTax can’t do this!

This is what I do: I solve problems. Big and small.

I can help you too. Contact Breithorn Accounting & Business Services today and let’s chat to see if I can help you get these same results.
